室內壓力監視控制器
/ Room
Pressure Monitor
Modus Model RPM1 - GE General Eastern
Description
The Modus room pressure monitor
takes advantage of our time-proven sensor technology to monitor, alarm
and/or control critical room to room differential pressures. The same
instrument monitors either positive or negative room pressures.
Monitoring of hospital
rooms such as operating rooms and isolation rooms for housing
contagious patients is a typical application. Other applications
requiring differential pressure monitoring are: fume hoods, clean
rooms, computer rooms, asbestos abatement projects etc. This monitor
is extremely sensitive and performs reliably at very low room
pressures.
It is easily mounted on
a wall and the installer has the choice of rear or bottom knockouts
for electrical and pressure connections. All electrical and mechanical
components are housed in a tough polycarbonate NEMA type 13 (IEC529,
IP65) enclosure with a clear, gasketed polycarbonate cover for easy
viewing of display and room status.
Pressure is displayed
on the front panel with a resolution of 0.001" of water (or 0.1
Pascals). The unit measures positive or negative pressure. A minus
sign indicates a negative room pressure. A small light, next to the
digital display, indicates the selected units of measurement (inches
of water or Pascals). A bright red and a bright green LED alert those
approaching of the status of the room. The pressure at which the
lights change state can be adjusted from the front panel.
The room pressure
monitor comes standard with a SPDT relay (for supplemental controls
such as audible alarm or remote status indication), and 3 analog
output signals, 0 to 5 Vdc, 0 to 10 Vdc and 4 to 20 mA. These analog
outputs are proportional to the room pressure. A selector switch
allows field setup for either 120 Vac or 240 Vac 50/60Hz service. 24
Vac operation is optional. |

Differential Pressure Transmitters
Modus Series M - GE General Eastern
Description
The Series M
family of differential pressure transmitters measure low pressures and
feature a wide variety of analog signal outputs with low power
consumption. A wide selection of standard pressure ranges and
electrical ratings is available. These transmitters feature: no moving
parts to wear out, reliable long term stability, and are virtually
position insensitive. The Series M transmitters are typically used for
monitoring cleanroom pressures, HVAC, velocity pressures, bubbler
level systems, and leak detection; as well as filter differential,
draft, fume hood and other low pressure applications.
The
transmitters are housed in a compact heavy duty gasketted cast
aluminum enclosure designed to IP 65 of IEC 529 standards and NEMA 4.
The die cast aluminum enclosure incorporates a recessed neoprene
gasket to prevent ingress of moisture or dust. Wall mounting holes are
enclosed in the cast aluminum box and concealed by the cover. The wall
mounting holes and the cover attaching screws are outside the
gasketted area. Access to the terminals are made through knockouts on
the front of the box. A choice of one or two knockouts and three hole
sizes is available to accommodate usage of 1/2 inch conduit and metric
sizes PG11 and PG13. Pluggable terminal block connectors are provided
with captive wire protection and captive terminal screws.
The
Series M includes four models: Model M10, Model M20, Model M30 and
Model M40. These four models incorporate a variety of power and signal
options.
The span
or zero adjustment is performed with a 20 turn potentiometer for fine
resolution. The M Series transmitters have been tested by an
accredited laboratory and comply with the European requirements of
Council Directive 89/336/EEC for emission measurements per EN50081-1
and immunity tests per EN50082-1. |

MultiRange Pressure Transmitter
Modus Series MR - GE General Eastern
Description
The MultiRange
Pressure Transmitter design incorporates a microprocessor and either a
solid-state, silicon, piezoresistive sensor or a diaphragm based,
capacitive cell. The MultiRange product combines these highly stable
sensing technologies with its microprocessor technology for improved
accuracy and reliability, with field-selectable flexibility for the
end-user. The MultiRange Pressure Transmitter offers up to three,
field-selectable, pressure ranges in a single unit, which eliminates
the need to stock multiple pressure transmitters.
Two,
industry standard, analog output versions are available: a 4-20 mA
2-wire loop powered unit, or a field selectable 0-5 VDC/0-10 VDC unit.
On VDC output units, a 0-5 or 0-10 VDC analog output option may be
chosen, with either unidirectional or bi-directional range preference.
The choice of uni-directional or bi-directional is also available on
units with a 4-20 mA output. These selections are accomplished with
easy-to-use, push-on jumpers.
The PC
board is mounted inside the cover of the unit, which makes for easy
installation, trouble-shooting and/or replacement. The design
incorporates a push-button Zero feature, which eliminates traditional
“trim pots” that typically require many turns to arrive at a
particular setting. A simple push of a button adjusts the Zero of this
MultiRange Pressure Transmitter.

Pressure Switch Relay Contacts Output
Modus Series S - GE General Eastern
Description
The Modus
pressure switch is a highly sensitive differential pressure switch,
capable of detecting pressure changes of .10 inches of water and
greater. To measure pressure between .10 and 5.0 inches of water, a
differential capacitance cell is used. In the capacitance cell, a very
lightweight, responsive diaphragm deflects a small amount when
pressure is applied. This deflection results in a change in
capacitance, which is detected and processed electronically.
Reliability and long life are inherent advantages of the solid-state
design. Differential pressure changes greater than 5.0 inches of water
are detected with a piezoresistive (silicon) sensor. The
piezoresistive sensor is a solid state device designed in a Wheatstone
bridge configuration. When pressure is applied to the device, the
resistance of the bridge changes by a small amount. This resistive
change is converted to a voltage and amplified.
A wide
selection of standard pressure ranges and electrical ratings is
available. The output of Series S10 pressure switch is an SPDT relay
contact.

Modus Series Titan - GE General Eastern
Pressure indicator, switch and
programmable transmitter in a convenient,
panel-mount package
Description
The Titan Series
of panel meters incorporates the use of a microprocessor and a
solid-state, silicone piezoresistive sensor. The microprocessor allows
for no trim pots, all digital calibration and overall product
flexibility. The Titan Series combines an indicator, a switch, and a
transmitter, with a large, vibrant 3½ digit LCD display, all in a
compact, 1/8 DIN enclosure. On the MPM2, set point settings are easily
made by the on-board, push-button adjustments. The Titan Series of
pressure panel meters features a pushbutton “zero” adjustment, making
mounting orientation flexible and easy — and (on the MPM2) the two
on-board LEDs allow for bright visual indication of when a Hi and/or
Lo point has been achieved.
The
Titan Series of pressure panel meters may be ordered with dual relays
for output switching. Typical applications would include those where a
Hi and/or a Lo alarm point are important. The Titan Series is
available with a 2 or 7 amp failsafe configured relay. Models with
relays also feature an easy-to-use, programmable deadband, which can
be set for up to 25% of the range of the unit, in .001” increments.
Relative
accuracy is 0.5% of full range. The unit is fully compatible with air
