Moisture Analyzer
The HygroGuard 2550 is a
microprocessor-controlled trace moisture analyzer and a remote probe
which houses a gold/aluminum oxide capacitive sensor and a Zener diod
temperature sensor. The HygroGuard 2550 was designed to provide
economical trace moisture analysis for gases. Output range, alarm set
points, measurement units (dew point or ppmv) and temperature
calibration data are all user-programmable.
The instrument measure dew point temperatures from -80°C to +20°C
(-112°F to +68°F), with special calibration available to -100°C (-148°F),
with ± 2°C (± 3.6°F) accuracy. Process control is obtained with one
alarm relay and one, isolated, linear 4-20 mA output corresponding to
dew point or ppmv. A second alarm is also assignable to the m oisture
unit. Three push-butons allow the user to easily set the alarm set
points, measurement unit, analog output range, temperature calibration
data, and pressure constant. The instrument electronics are EMI/RFI/ESD
resistant, exceeding IEC and ANSI/IEEE standards.
